What is ICE-Net?
ICE-Net is an online resource and a terrific way to connect with other Hawkeyes who share similar professional interests.

Who are the volunteers in ICE-Net?
Alumni and student intern volunteers from all fields, professions, and geographic regions are available to talk about their experiences.

Is ICE-Net an employment service?
No. It is important to note that this is an opportunity to make contacts and gather valuable information.

Who may search the database?
Any registered user of is encouraged to use this service.
Also, any member of the University of Iowa community may volunteer and add their profile to our database.

How does ICE-Net work?
Volunteer profiles are searchable by various criteria and the system allows you to select and contact the volunteers you are interested in.

How often can I use ICE-Net?
As often as you would like - volunteers can pre-set how many mentors they will have contact with in a certain time period.

What types of questions may be asked?
Questions may be asked regarding internship or professional experience, career path, day to day duties, industry and/or position openings.
