Pomerantz Career Center

Cindy Meis, Associate Director of Alumni Career Services and Networks joined the Pomerantz Career Center in the summer of 2006. She will consult with UI alumni about career changes and job searches, build relationships with alums and their organizations as well as visit alumni groups across Iowa and selected US cities. In addition, she will help manage technology that will enable students to connect with alumni for networking purposes.

Cindy is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a B.A. in Organizational Communications and minor in Political Science. She has worked at The University of Iowa since 2001. Her main areas included; Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow, Ambassador Advisor program and Alumni events. She brings experience from a variety of industries including health care, novelties, technology/software, marketing and client services with her to her new position.
