What Can I Do With a Major in... Business Analytics and Information Systems (Formerly Management Information Systems)

Technology-savvy business decision makers understand how to make their organizations more profitable, productive, and competitive through the use of current and emerging technologies. With a degree in business analytics and information systems (BAIS), you'll learn how to design and manage information technology that will solve business problems and help a company meet its goals and business challenges.

While business graduates nationwide have done remarkably well in recent years, BAIS majors have had the best success in salary offers, with an average increase of about 5% each year. In recent years, our graduates have enjoyed a 100% placement success rate, and Department of Labor statistics project a 25% growth rate in employment through the year 2018. And there's more good news-according to the book 200 Best Jobs for College Graduates, four of the top-five job categories are IT-related.

A few of your career options after graduation are business analyst, systems analyst, business intelligence manager, predictive analytics consultant, application developer, database administrator, process improvement manager, supply chain analyst, and software engineer.
