Corporate and Community Relations
The Pomerantz Career Center works particularly hard to build productive and fruitful relationships with employers and organizations within our home state of Iowa and beyond. We realize that not all organizations can visit the University of Iowa campus, but also recognize that every community, organization, government agency, and corporation is important to our mission. We havetherefore developed an outreach model that has set a standard for building relationships.
If your community or organization would like to learn more about a mutually-beneficial cooperation with the University of Iowa Pomerantz Career Center, and you would like to be visited by a representative, please contact Jane Schildroth, Director of Corporate and Community Relations, at 319-335-1023.

New Initiative! - The Chicago Center
The University of Iowa has enjoyed a long-standing connection with the city of Chicago and the surrounding communities, both in the recruiting of many students to the University and in the placement of many UI graduates within the Chicagoland area. The Chicago Center is now up and running and works on behalf of the University of Iowa to forge strong relationships between our students and alumni, and employers and organizations in northeastern Illinois. Staff, officees and conference space for the center is located in the heart of the Chicago region, providing a means for quick and ongoing interaction with area students, parents, employers, and other organizations, as an outreach service of the University of Iowa’s Pomerantz Career Center.
