STUDENTS Undergraduate Scholar Assistant (USA) Program

How Does It Work

  • USA students work with a tenure-track faculty member assisting with research, teaching, or other academic pursuits.
  • USA positions are at least 10 hours of work per week.
  • USA students are paid during the fall and spring semester (program is not funded during the summer).
  • Participants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and have the approval of their major department.
  • USA students will register their experience as an internship with the Pomerantz Career Center and with the University Registration Center.
  • USA students must be hired and complete paperwork at Honors before the deadline for adding courses each semester.

* Program funding is limited. Once funds are exhausted for a given academic semester, no additional new USA interns will be funded.
