Join the Pomerantz Career Center on a visit to three organizations in the Des Moines area that specialize in food and nutrition. On our trip, we will be visiting:

1. Iowa Department of Education: The Bureau of Nutrition and Health Services oversees two primary areas of USDA Child Nutrition Programs for the state of Iowa: School Nutrition Programs and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

2. World Food Prize Foundation: The foundation hosts multiple programs and events focused on sustainably increasing the quality, quantity and availability of food for all.

3. Mom's Meals: Mom's Meals specializes in preparing and delivering medically tailored, ready-to-eat meals to serve individual needs.
